Esperanza Spalding was a Jazz artist who beats Justin Bieber and Drake for the Best New Artist Category for this years Grammy Awards. The 26 years old Jazz bassist and singer outshines the social media’s most recognizable star Justin Bieber.
Esperanza Spalding was born on October 18, 1984. She had performed during the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize Awarding Ceremony. The recipient Laureate was President Barrack Obama. She was a teacher by profession.
During the year 2006 Spalding have recorded an album entitled “Junjo”. Her latest album for the year 2009 was entitled “Chamber Music Society”. Her album did not garnered any Grammy nomination but she was chosen as the Best New Artist for this year’s Grammy Awards.
