Actor Charlie Sheen was born Carlos Irwin Estevez on September 3, 1965 in New York City. His father is actor Martin Sheen and his brother is actor Emilio Estevez. Charlie began acting at the age of nine. His breakthrough role came in 1986 when he played the role of Chris Taylor in the war film Platoon.

Charlie, a high school baseball player, enjoyed a key role in Major League, where he played Rick "Wild Thing" Vaughn. He played opposite his brother Emilio in Young Guns. Charlie appeared with his father and Michael Douglas in Wall Street.

Sheen has achieved success on television with Spin City and Two and Half Men. Charlie married Denise Richards in 2002 and the couple had two children. Charlie and Denise had a messy divorce in 2006 that has led to a combative custody dispute.

Throughout his career, Sheen has been mixed up in shenanigans, highlighted by call girls and cocaine addiction. Sheen is now married to Brooke Mueller and appears on the right path.
